…. That you can easily align Civil 3D points on an alignment with “Points from Alignment”, even subsequently.
How to do that I will show you here.
STEP 1
First select the alignment where you want to align the points. The selection is made either through the map window, the drop-down menu or the selection in C3D. The selected alignment is then displayed as colored (red) in the map window also the main window.
STEP 2
Choose under the tab “Output” the orientation of the points, if they should be readable from the right or the left.
STEP 3
Choose from the toolbar the command “point(s) Align”.
Then you choose in Civil 3D the points that are to be aligned.
When finished the points are aligned.
